The data forum on National and European surveys on working conditions aims to bring together experts either of data production or data use in the field of working conditions. The objective is to identify data gaps in working conditions' assessment both at the national and the European levels. The research area on working conditions encompasses a large number of topics such as health and safety at work, work organisation, or skills development and relevant surveys covering all the aspects of working conditions are scarce. In fact, most of the time, surveys focus on some aspects only rather than cover all the potential information needs. With respect to this shortcoming, existing surveys can be enriched either by extending the topics’ coverage or by combining different data sources. To what extent do existing surveys allow robust investigations in the area of working conditions? How to expand the richness of topics covered while improving possibilities for EU-wide comparisons? This data forum aims to help answering these questions by bringing together different stakeholders and experts. The objective of this data forum is to bring together researchers, social partners and data providers to discuss avenues for improving data, in terms of collection (harmonisation of classifications and questionnaires, extension of matching opportunities, etc.) but also of dissemination and use of data (data access, metadata, transparency of prodedures). Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is not limited, as it is an on-line event. But you have to fill the registration form to attend and receive the link of the meeting. To attend, please fill out the registration form before June 15. For further information, contact: sylvie.hamon-cholet@lecnam.net |
